Caring for your floor.

Proper floor care will help maintain the strength and beauty of your floor for years to come, not to mention protecting the investment you’ve made in your home.
Here are some basic floor care tips:

HARDWOOD AND LAMINATEBona Hardwood Floor Care System
Vacuum with a soft-brush attachment to remove loose dirt and grit.
Spray a light mist of Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner or Bona Stone, Tile & Laminate Cleaner and mop with a cleaning pad. It’s best to do this in sections no larger than 4 feet by 6 feet.
Avoid
water to clean your wood or laminate floor, and promptly wipe and dry any spilled liquids.
Apply
felt furniture protector pads to bottoms of chair legs, occasional tables, etc., to help keep your floors scratch free.

TILE
Vacuum
with a soft-brush attachment to remove loose dirt and grit.
Mop your tile floor Bona Stone, Tile & Laminate Cleaner to keep your tile and grout lines clean.

CARPET
Vacuum
regularly and thoroughly to remove gritty dirt that can damage the fibers.
Wipe
and dab to deal with spills as soon as possible, preferably the moment they occur.
